- Film historian Michael F. Blake has a new book called The Cavalry Trilogy: John Ford, John Wayne, and the Making of Three Classic Westerns. Mark talks with Blake about what the landscape of Arizona contributed to these films, especially Monument Valley, one of John Ford’s favorite locations to photograph.

- Meet Matthew Landon, a librarian with the Pima County Public Library. Landon recently received national recognition for his efforts to bolster youth mental health and to combat social stigma in our community with the Youth Health Action Team.
Librarian Matthew Landon has received recognition from the Library Journal for his work fighting stigmas about mental health and helping local youth to initiate conversations about issues they may be facing.

- Arizona Spotlight's storyteller for the month of June is Elena Acoba, a retired journalist and editor. Acoba tells about her family’s perspective on the intersection of military service, racism, and the United States flag, as she considers how to best honor her father’s legacy.
