Congressman Raúl Grijalva announced the opening of the Community Project Funding Portal for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, which includes a large swath of Tucson, east to Yuma and south to the border.
Grijalva’s office said the funding is for projects that will improve community services and infrastructure in Southern Arizona. As well, they should be shovel-ready and demonstrate strong evidence of community support.
The deadline for submissions will be announced when the House Appropriations Committee releases guidelines. Historically, each representative can request funding for a handful of projects.
