The U-S Supreme Court sent six death penalty cases back to the courts in Arizona for resentencing. The court's decision comes weeks after it released an earlier ruling in a death penalty case saying the sentencing was wrong.
At issue are cases in which a jury was not told that the defendant was ineligible for parole…so life without parole is not a legal option. The latest ruling from the nation's highest court was released without comment.
