Fast flowing water through Bear Canyon forced a ladder rescue of 21 adults and 4 children on Saturday evening.
The Coronado National Forest posted on Twitter that officials from the forest worked with personnel from Tucson Fire, and the Pima County SAR team to get the people to safety.
Recent monsoon rains have brought flash floods to multiple washes and other areas in southern Arizona recently.
The National Weather Service in Tucson says there is a chance of “excessive rainfall” throughout much of southern Arizona on Sunday.
