Nearly eighty years ago, the Maxwell family moved to Tucson. Over the decades they helped pave the way for many of the positive changes we see in our community. The Maxwell’s created important educational opportunities for African-Americans and tore down many of the barriers that stood in the way of progress ... the Maxwell legacy is strong, significant, and lasting.
