Arizona Exceeds National Income Growth Average

Bureau of Economic Analysis shows 4.6 percent growth in Arizona

Personal income grew on average 4.4 percent across the United States in 2015, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

The same report shows Arizona income grew 4.6 percent last year.

In Arizona, the finance and insurance industry saw the largest growth last year, with incomes rising by a total of $1 billion.

Other income leaders in Arizona include trade, construction and transportation.

Only the mining industry showed a loss in Arizona income in 2015. Mining also had the largest job losses for the state last year.
