The first recorded game of baseball took place in 1846.
Since that time, the sport has changed immensely.
Every year, a group of teams from around the state gather to make sure those early rules are remembered by playing the game the way it was played more than 150 years ago.
The Arizona Territories Vintage Base Ball League plays the game by the rules of 1860, predating the use of gloves, a hard ball, and overhand pitching.
This year, their season-ending tournament was held in a fitting place: Bisbee's historic Warren Ballpark.
The park, built in 1905, is the oldest in the state and some would claim the oldest continuously-used park in the country.
